I ALMOST didnt' make it BUT God had a plan.
As you read the message that my mom sent me on today you will begin to understand that there has always been such a fight in me. From the time of conception and even up to now and it is my desire that the God Given Fight will always exist. A fight to see people walk in freedom, a fight to win, a fight to dream big, a fight to give hope, a fight to inspire, encourage and much much more!

From MomToday is your birthday, I can remember catching the bus to the doctor's office when I was in labor with you. Upon your arrival, you did not weigh more than 3lbs. I cried and prayed, that you would be alright. When I saw you in the incubator, no bigger than a tiny bird. fighting and moving, I knew God almighty had answer my prayers. You are a joy to me, just like all my children. So mommy want to tell you that I love you so much and that in my heart I know that God will continue to bless you and your family. As I laid in the hospital for months fighting for my life, my mom and my family prayed. My mother told me that my grandmother who was her mother said these words. Shes a Fighter shes going to make it!
God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us!

that is so beautiful.. it brings back memories for me a well when I had my son on August 9, 2000. I developed an infection on my uterus and had to be induced on that day (my son was not suppose to be here until October).Beforehand, I broke my water at 16wks and leaked fluid the whole time. Almost didn't make it, but God had a plan! He too weighed only 2lbs.. He is my MIRACLE!! Lenika, you are a true Woman of GOD, I want to wish you a very, very Happy Birthday and many more to come!
